BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable outcomes, under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Role requires an LPN/LVN license, CPR/AED, and two years in a clinical setting. Training and vaccination program support are part of the duties, with potential for growth within Takeda’s

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent incl. nursing program with state requirements.
• Currently licensed or certified in the state: LPN or LVN.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Work under Center Manager guidance for operations and under Center Physician for medical issues.
• Follow regulations and SOPs; provide center-level EHS support as needed.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance and, if needed, engage occupational health/ER.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist investigations.
