Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as LPN/LVN in the state of IA.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years clinical or hospital experience.
• FDA-approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and donor history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs.
• Provide center-level EHS guidance and assist with incidents as needed.
