Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support center operations in Aurora, CO. You will determine donor eligibility, handle adverse events, review SPE results, and notify donors of test outcomes under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Qualifications

• Must possess LPN/LVN license current in the responsibility state.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Basic IV therapy proficiency required by state licenses.
• Complete FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, education and self-exclusion.
• Assess donor safety and manage adverse events per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate outcomes to donors.
• Coordinate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
