Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor safety, review laboratory results, and communicate test outcomes under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the state of assignment.
• CPR and AED certification valid.
• Experience in clinical/hospital settings preferred.
• Familiarity with IV therapy and FDA training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and consent per SOPs.
• Manage donor adverse events and review lab results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results under guidance of physicians.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health considerations.
• Maintain EHS and regulatory compliance in center operations.
