BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) in Springfield, MO to support plasma center operations and donor care.

You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, manage adverse events, and coordinate with the Center Manager and Center Physician as needed. Qualifications include LPN/LVN license, CPR/AED, and two years in a clinical setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent to include nursing program graduation.
• Currently licensed or certified as LPN or LVN in the state of responsibility.
• CPR and AED certification are required.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor safety and manage donor reactions per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and report unsuitable results.
• Refer complex medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health activities.
