BioLife Plasma Services in the United States (Missouri) is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, and manage donor safety under the Center Manager and Center Physician.

The role requires an LPN or LVN license, CPR/AED certification, a state nursing license, and at least two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent to include nursing program basics.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, intake history, and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings.
• Provide center-level support to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and coordinate with Center Physician for medical guidance.
