Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) in Spring, TX. You will determine donor eligibility, assist with informed consent, monitor donor safety, and review test results within a fast-paced plasma center.

The role requires clinical or hospital experience, state nursing licensure (LPN/LVN), CPR/AED certification, and IV therapy proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• Licensed or certified as LPN/LVN in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage adverse events.
• Review laboratory test results (SPE) and communicate findings.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies and donor transport to care facilities.
• Support employee vaccination programs (Hep B, Seasonal Flu).
• Manage employee incidents and refer to occupational health or ER when needed.
