Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) in Springfield, MO. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and support center operations under the Center Manager and Center Physician.

You will hold a nursing qualification (LPN/LVN) with CPR/AED and at least two years of clinical experience, plus basic IV therapy. A $2,500 signing bonus and comprehensive benefits accompany a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Nursing licensure (LPN/LVN) in the applicable state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State requirements for basic IV therapy.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Consult Center Physician or Medical Affairs for abnormal findings.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B & Seasonal Flu) for staff.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator if authorized by EHS and Medical Affairs.
