Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations in Bellingham, WA. You will assess donor eligibility, respond to donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable tests under physician guidance.

You'll collaborate with the Center Manager, follow SOPs, participate in vaccination programs for staff, and help manage incidents with Environmental Health & Safety oversight; thrive in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Must hold EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P licensure or equivalent nursing license.
• Current CPR and AED certification is required.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Manage donor adverse events and review lab test results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results per SOPs.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Assist with donor safety and equipment-related issues under physician guidance.
• Coordinate with Center Manager and EHS for incident investigations.
