Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently licensed or certified as EMT-Paramedic in the responsible state.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Fulfill state IV therapy requirements.
• FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility with informed consent, medical history, and testing requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical/technical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents with occupational health/ER input and EHS guidance.
• Potentially serve as Pandemic Coordinator as authorized by EHS and Medical Affairs.
