Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Livonia, MI is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, perform medical history interviews, and review lab results, ensuring donor safety and compliance with SOPs.

You will evaluate donor reactions, coordinate with the Center Physician, and assist with vaccination programs and occupational health. This is a part-time, on-site role at the Livonia center.

Qualifications

• Eligibility determination including informed consent and medical history interview.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including medical history interview and physical examination.
• Review SPE results and communicate findings to donors as appropriate.
• Manage donor adverse events and coordinate donor safety and transport as needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and assist EHS/occupational health as needed.
• Assist with incident reporting and pandemic preparedness under guidance.
