Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Warren, MI seeks a Medical Support Specialist to assist donor eligibility, review laboratory results, and manage donor safety at the plasma center. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure compliant operations.

The role requires EMT/ RN/LPN licensure in the applicable state, CPR/AED certification, and at least two years of clinical experience. You will contribute to safety programs and follow SOPs to support high-quality plasma collection.

Qualifications

• Licensure as EMT/paramedic or RN/LPN in the applicable state.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Familiarity with plasma collection regulations and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unclear findings.
• Support vaccination programs for employees when applicable.
• Assist with donor safety and transport to care facilities as needed.
• Coordinate with EHS on incident investigations and pandemic planning.
