Qualifications

• EMT certification and licensure required in the state of responsibilities.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• State nursing or paramedical licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, medical history interview and physical examination, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and coordinate emergency transport if needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unclear findings or medical/technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu) for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with EHS for investigations.
