Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, evaluate donor reactions, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Qualifications include EMT or RN/LPN licensure, CPR/AED certification, and a minimum of two years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• EMT/paramedic licensure and CPR/AED certification are required.
• Experience with donor assessment, medical history review and safety procedures.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for critical findings or guidance.

Skills

EMT license

CPR/AED certification

IV therapy qualification

FDA training complete

Clinical experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent including nursing program
