Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results.

You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety. Ideal candidates hold EMT/paramedic or nursing licenses, CPR/AED certification, and at least two years in a clinical setting,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current licensure in state (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P, LPN/LVN, RN) and CPR/AED certification.
• FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Refer complex issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support vaccination programs and incident management per EHS guidance.
