Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Fort Worth is hiring a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review SPE results, and notify donors of unsuitable tests. You’ll work under the Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure safety and compliance in a fast-paced plasma donation center.

Responsibilities include following SOPs for emergencies, supporting vaccination programs, and coordinating donor transport when required, with an emphasis on EHS guidelines and

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified in the state of responsibilities (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P, LPN/LVN, RN).
• Two years of clinical or hospital setting experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and physical assessment.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Support vaccination programs and environmental, health and safety (EHS) guidelines.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unclear findings or medical issues.
• Coordinate donor transport to emergency care facilities when needed.
