Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis and supervise immunizations per state SOPs. The role includes limited emergency care, training, and ensuring cGMP and regulatory compliance across center operations.

The candidate will review donor data in NexLynk, classify donors, counsel deferred donors, and collaborate with center physicians. A healthcare degree and active CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program (Physician, LPN, or RN).
• Current CPR certification and state license/certification to perform moderate complexity testing.
• 1 year of hospital, field care, or plasma center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and consent discussions per SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as trained.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain documentation such as Physician Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA Backup.
• Mentor Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
