Qualifications

• Current CPR and AED certification
• State licensure as EMT-B/ EMT-A/ EMT-I/ EMT-P, LPN/LVN or RN
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, physical examination, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs and Center Physician standing orders.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on abnormal findings or medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate OSHA/EHS guidance for follow-up.
• Possibly act as Pandemic Coordinator for local community investigations as authorized.
