Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of test outcomes. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, following SOPs and EHS guidance to ensure safety and compliance in plasma collection operations.

The role requires a nursing/licensing background, CPR/AED, and relevant clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements.
• Perform physical examinations, blood testing, and review SPE results as part of donor screening.
• Manage donor reactions and follow SOPs for emergencies and transport to care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unclear medical findings.
