Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate from an approved nursing program with state licensure requirements.
• Current licensure: EMT-B/A/I/P, LPN/LVN, or RN in the state of responsibility.
• CPR and AED certification; meet state IV therapy requirements; FDA training as applicable.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, medical history interview, physical exam, blood testing and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies according to SOPs; refer to Center Physician when needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues; ensure donor safety and compliance.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health initiatives; coordinate with EHS as required.
