Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a medical or health care environment.
• CA requires either Phlebotomy Technician I certification or RN license.
• Possesses knowledge of SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to begin the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor during pheresis and adjust as needed.
• Set up donor equipment and monitor for issues.
• Document donor data and process incidents with a PDA.
• Calibrate equipment and respond to alarms.
• Maintain clean work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Educate donors about procedures and center policies.
