Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Donor Center Technician to perform venipuncture and oversee pheresis procedures in a donor center environment. The role involves donor setup, monitoring, and ensuring safety and quality in every donation with strict adherence to SOPs and FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities include data recording, donor education on the process and policies, and maintaining a compliant, clean work area while responding promptly to equipment alarms or issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• For Centers located in CA the following experience is also required: state certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I, OR current RN by the State of California.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and pheresis procedures per SOPs.
• Monitor donor during pheresis to ensure safety and comfort.
• Set up donor and connect/disconnect equipment per SOPs.
• Record donor data accurately in the system.
• Educate donors about the donation process and center policies.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and report any equipment issues promptly.
