Job summary

Amrize is seeking a dedicated Utility Operator for its Theodore, AL cement plant. You will help maintain plant operations, perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support safety programs on a rotating shift schedule.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with an associate/technical degree preferred, and familiarity with Word and Excel. Candidates with 5–10 years of industrial experience and cement process knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates/Technical Degree preferred.
• Basic computer skills in Word and Excel.
• 5-10 years of industrial experience preferred.
• Good understanding of cement manufacturing basics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance, repairs, minor installations, replacements and some elementary electrical work.
• Troubleshoot production issues and take corrective actions.
• Conduct preheater tower cleaning.
• Train other operators and participate in team meetings.
• Work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays as assigned.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and promote a safety culture.
