Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Utility Operator for its Theodore, AL manufacturing facility. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot production issues, and support safe, efficient plant operations.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED; an Associate/Technical degree is a plus and 5–10 years of industrial experience is preferred. Safety is a core expectation, with PPE compliance and minimal supervision emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates/Technical Degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of industrial experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of cement manufacturing process preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance, repairs, minor installations, replacements and some electrical work.
• Troubleshoot production issues and take corrective actions.
• Preheater tower cleaning including Cardox.
• Trains other operators, and participates in team meetings.
• Works rotating shift schedule; weekends and holidays as assigned.
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and PPE protocols.
