Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Utility Operator at its Theodore, AL plant to perform maintenance, troubleshoot production issues and support safe, efficient operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with an associate/technical degree preferred, and 5–10 years of industrial experience is desired.

You will work a rotating shift schedule with weekend/holiday coverage and training responsibilities. Applicants must comply with PPE protocols and safety policies, and possess basic computer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate/technical degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• 5–10 years of industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance, repairs, minor installations and some electrical work.
• Troubleshoot production issues and take corrective actions.
• Assist with preheater tower cleaning and Cardox usage.
• Train other operators and participate in team meetings.
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
