Job summary

Amrize seeks a Utility Operator for its Theodore, AL cement plant to maintain operations, perform basic maintenance and electrical tasks, and troubleshoot production issues. You will join a safety‑driven team and participate in rotating shifts.

Qualified candidates have 5–10 years in industrial settings, a High School Diploma or GED (Associates/Technical preferred), and proficiency with Word and Excel. Strong safety culture is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates/Technical degree preferred.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• 5–10 years of industrial experience preferred.
• Understanding of cement manufacturing process is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance, repairs, minor installations, replacements and some electrical work.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preheater tower cleaning and related tasks.
• Train other operators and participate in team meetings.
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
