Job summary

Amrize is seeking a dedicated Utility Operator for its Theodore, AL manufacturing facility. You will perform diverse tasks to maintain plant operations, including basic maintenance, repairs, and minor electrical work. The role requires a safety-first mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate/Technical degree preferred. Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is expected, and cement manufacturing knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates/Technical Degree preferred.
• Experience with cement manufacturing processes preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to PPE protocols.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance, repairs, minor installations and some electrical work.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct preheater tower cleaning and related tasks.
• Train other operators and participate in team meetings.
• Work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental policies.
