Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a senior plant leader to drive safe and efficient operation at the Cedar Bayou Plant. You will coordinate technical resources, manage capital and O&M projects, and ensure compliance with procedures while promoting strong safety culture.

The role requires deep engineering knowledge, significant experience in power/industrial plants, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 8 years of experience in a power/industrial plant.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical activities at the Cedar Bayou Plant to ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and economic operation.
• Develop, implement and manage the station's technical plan and MOC process.
• Oversee capital and O&M project execution and budget tracking.
