Job summary

Ag Processing Inc. in Hastings, NE is launching a Supervisor Trainee program designed to develop leadership across multiple plant settings, including crush, refinery, and biodiesel.

Trainees will oversee production workers, emphasize safety, quality, and efficiency, and gain exposure to project management and maintenance tasks. Successful engineers may transition into supervisory roles across AGP facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• Able to work rotating night and day shifts.
• Leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to relocate to Midwest locations after training.

Responsibilities

• Manage production employees through scheduling, monitoring, and assisting as needed.
• Take a lead role in locomotive and rail safety training.
• Monitor equipment and facility for proper operation by reviewing logs, reports, and inspections.
• Assist with production and maintenance as needed, including loading, unloading, and maintenance work.
• Lead by example - no task is worth completing if conducted in an unsafe manner.
• Manage and track daily production quality to meet parameters.
• Assist with inventory controls, including measuring and sampling.
• Review and write reports; attend company meetings.
