Job summary

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) in Hastings, NE offers a supervised trainee program to develop future plant supervisors across crush, refinery, and biodiesel operations. You will learn AGP’s production principles, safety standards, quality controls, and project management while working with production and maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree and are prepared for rotating shifts. The program leads to a full-time Supervisor role with opportunities in operations and engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, agricultural, industrial technology, or biosystems preferred).
• Able to work rotating day/night shifts.
• Leadership abilities and strong problem-solving skills.
• Analytical thinking and negotiation capabilities.
• Able to organize employee work schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Willing to relocate to Midwest locations after development program.

Responsibilities

• Manage production employees through scheduling, monitoring, and guidance.
• Lead locomotive and rail safety training.
• Monitor equipment and facility operation via logs, reports, and inspections.
• Assist with production and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Lead by example with safety and quality in every task.
• Manage and track daily production quality to meet parameters.
• Assist with inventory controls and sampling.
• Review and write reports; attend company meetings.
