Job summary

Ag Processing Inc. in Eagle Grove, IA is seeking a Supervisor Trainee to join its leadership pipeline. The role offers hands-on supervision of plant workers and exposure to production, safety, quality, and maintenance across crush, refinery and biodiesel settings.

Training leads to a full-time Supervisor role and potential advancement within AGP. Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree, are willing to rotate shifts, and are prepared to relocate within the Midwest after the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering (mechanical, chemical, agricultural, industrial tech, or biosystems engineering preferred).
• Willing to work rotating night and day shifts.
• Leadership skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to organize staff schedules and supervise production teams.
• Willing to relocate within the Midwest after program completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage production employees through scheduling, monitoring, and assisting as needed.
• Take a lead role in locomotive and rail safety training.
• Monitor equipment and facility operation by reviewing logs and inspections.
• Assist with production and maintenance tasks, including loading and unloading.
• Lead by example to uphold safety standards in all tasks.
• Manage and track daily production quality to meet parameters.
• Assist with inventory controls, including sampling and measurement.
• Review and write reports; attend company meetings.
