Job summary

Arclin is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the St. Clair, Cleveland OH Plant to lead daily operations, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvement across production, maintenance, and quality teams.

This role focuses on safe, reliable, and efficient performance while maintaining strict adherence to SOPs and batch records. You will oversee operators, manage resources, and coordinate with maintenance and QA to uphold product quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in chemical or related process plant environments.
• 1–3+ years in lead or supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of process operations, permits, and LOTO/energy isolation.
• Proficient with MS Office tools.
• Ability to lead teams under pressure; strong decision-making.
• OSHA concepts knowledge; basic quality systems and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-shift production to safe, reliable operations.
• Direct operators, manage shift resources, coordinate with maintenance and quality.
• Ensure safety, environmental and company standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety huddles and shift handovers.
• Provide KPI reports to management.
• Maintain batch records and changeovers; ensure product quality.
• Drive continuous improvement and upskilling of operators.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and asset care.
