The candidate will troubleshoot issues, drive reliability improvements, and coordinate with maintenance and other departments to meet production and quality goals in extreme environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in a coke/manufacturing or union environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages a crew of hourly employees and oversees maintenance staff.
• Troubleshoots and investigates operational issues to meet production goals.
• Plan and schedule work to achieve production sequences and reliability.
• Promote safety, health, and environmental compliance across the facility.
• Provide resources and training for staff; report progress to management.
• Support continuous improvement and interact with contractors/vendors.
