Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee safe and efficient plant operations on an assigned shift. You will monitor boilers, turbines, and the steam plant, directing personnel and coordinating with maintenance to maintain environmental permits.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll lead a cross-trained team, enforce safety, train staff, and respond to emergencies while upholding Reworld values and ensuring reliable power generation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Engineering degree desirable; hands-on boiler and electrical generation experience required.
• Must obtain & maintain ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
• Knowledge of steam generating power stations and instrument/control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, training, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor boilers, turbine and steam plant during assigned shift.
• Routinely tour the plant and oversee personnel while enforcing safety regulations.
• Direct or perform operations during emergencies or unusual events.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and approve equipment removal requests.
• Troubleshoot plant issues and lead a cross-trained, motivated team.
