Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC seeks a Shift Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient operation of a power/resource recovery facility during assigned shifts. You will monitor boilers, turbine and steam plant, supervise staff, and coordinate emergency responses while adhering to safety regulations and environmental permits.

With a strong background in plant operations and leadership, you will drive daily, weekly, and monthly checks, approve equipment removal for maintenance, and train personnel to maintain

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Engineering degree desirable; hands-on boiler and electrical generation experience required.
• Must obtain & maintain ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
• Knowledge of steam generating plants and control systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of boilers, turbine and steam plant on shift.
• Direct emergencies or unusual operations and coordinate personnel.
• Complete shift, daily, weekly and monthly checks and supervise maintenance.
• Authorize removal of equipment from service and issue safety permits.
• Train and manage a capable, flexible workforce.
• Maintain compliance with environmental limits and permits.
