Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Production Operations Leader to direct and coordinate all shift activities, ensuring high productivity and cost efficiency while enforcing Wayne Farms’ policies.

You will lead a team of 5–15 salaried staff and oversee 200+ hourly workers, uphold HACCP/SSOPs/GMPs, and maintain USDA compliance. The role emphasizes safety, reporting, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 8+ years in manufacturing preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership/supervisory experience in a facility with 200+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate plant operations on the production shift.
• Develop and train employees; conduct monthly safety meetings.
• Ensure compliance with food safety programs (HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs) and USDA requirements.
• Foster positive communication and timely production reporting.
• Provide leadership to 5–15 salaried staff and oversight of 200+ hourly workers.
