Lowe’s in Richmond, VA is seeking a team member to deliver SMART customer service and support merchandising resets according to Lowe’s standards. You will interact with customers, assist in locating and loading merchandise, and collaborate with the Merchandising Service team on priorities and schedules.

The role requires up to 6 months in nursery or general merchandising, a high school diploma, and experience with planograms and power equipment.

Formación

• 6 Months Live nursery experience or General Merchandising experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 Months Lowe’s sales floor experience.
• 6 Months Experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms, setting up and tearing down displays
• 3 Months Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment

Responsabilidades

• Always provide SMART customer service through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs.
• Build relationships with vendors by providing direction and checking to ensure merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe’s specifications.
• Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and project needs (e.g., materials, supplies, time)
• Engage with customers when the opportunity arises, understand needs, and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.
• Listen to and respond to customer questions; guide them to areas of the store as needed.
• Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers.
• Communicate information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs.
• Update/validate wayfinding and product location signage and maintain digital information throughout the store.
• Ensure cross merchandise and layout standards to drive add-on sales.
• Repair/reseal damaged packaging and boxes and maintain displays.
