Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Texas is seeking a Security Officer to protect the plant and its people. You will enforce company policies, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include logging visitors, patrolling the facility by foot or vehicle, coordinating with local law enforcement, and ensuring compliant operations. A strong sense of responsibility and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Check ID cards of all persons entering the plant area.
• Log all visitors in and out.
• Patrol assigned area on foot or in company vehicle.
• Monitor parked vehicles for noncompliance.
• Monitor foot traffic and remove loiterers.
• Control traffic and assist in evacuations.
• Maintain logs and reports.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ensure sanitation entries are compliant.
• Provide customer service as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor parked vehicles and write parking tickets if noncompliant.

• Investigate incidents and assist in evacuations as needed.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement as necessary.
