Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a Security Guard to monitor plant activity and enforce safety and security protocols. The role includes hourly rounds, temperature checks, traffic monitoring, and weight verification of trailers, with responsibilities extending to post-shift switchboard duties and load billing.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong English communication, and the ability to work any shift in varying weather conditions. Security experience is a plus;EOE policy applies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong computer skills preferred.
• Security experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant activity.
• Perform hourly rounds, check trailer temps, room temps, and gates.
• Observe all associates entering and exiting building, including car traffic.
• Weight master scales, weighing trailers in and out.
• Answer switchboard after hours.
• Bill loads.
• Follow and implement company policies.
• Operate company-owned vehicles.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability.
• Receive shipments of supplies and raw materials.
