Job summary

Trinity Tank Car, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer for the Longview, TX plant. You will monitor the property, serve as the first point of contact for visitors, investigate incidents, prevent theft, and calm escalations.

You will liaison between customers, visitors and employees and prepare security documentation. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months in security, and proficiency with MS Word/Outlook.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Security Officer.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interface effectively with individuals of all levels.
• Prior knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Work shift work required; days, swing, nights, weekends and holidays year-round.
• Prior experience and enforcement of procedures and policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property and serve as the first point of contact for visitors entering the building or property.
• Assist with investigating on-site incidents, preventing theft, and mitigating escalated situations.
• Act as a liaison between customers, visitors and employees, and prepare documentation for the security administration program.
