Pilgrim’s Guntersville, AL is seeking a 1st shift security guard to join the security team. The role involves monitoring traffic in and out of the plant, inspecting trailers, and overseeing parking lot activity.

Responsibilities include hourly rounds, monitoring entrances, weighing trailers, answering after-hours switchboard, enforcing policies, and handling shipments. Prior security experience is a plus; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualificações

• Must read, write and speak English.
• Able to walk more than a mile on varied terrain in all weather.
• Ability to perform tasks without direct supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively under stress.
• Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Hourly rounds to check trailer temps, room temps, and gates.
• Monitor all associates entering and exiting building and car traffic.
• Weigh trailers using weight master scales.
• Answer switchboard after hours.
• Follow and implement company policies.
• Operate company owned vehicles.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability.
• Receive shipments of supplies and raw materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
