Job summary

After The Badge Jobs is seeking a skilled Safety Manager to oversee the working environment of production teams and ensure compliance with OSHA policies. You will lead safety training, audits, and incident investigations to protect employees and minimize risks.

You will collaborate with production managers and supervisors, coordinate with regulators, and supervise first responders while maintaining safety data sheets and reporting as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years’ professional safety experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) status preferred.
• Physically demanding job with lifting 40+ pounds; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities; able to interact with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe production environment in accordance with safety policies.
• Maintain open communication with production teams about safety concerns.
• Ensure training in OSHA and company safety programs.
• Conduct plant safety audits and document corrective actions.
• Coordinate with regulators and respond to inquiries and audits.
• Lead first responder team for first aid/CPR and incident investigations.
• Report injuries to workers' compensation administrator and coordinate follow-up.
• Manage plant safety data sheets and regulatory compliance.
