Job summary

Blue Polymers is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the administration, implementation, and continual improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs. The role focuses on coordinating safety initiatives, maintaining compliance documentation, and facilitating employee training across the plant.

The ideal candidate will manage PPE programs, conduct safety audits, assist with incident investigations, and support regulatory reporting while promoting a safe and healthy workplace.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; an Associate’s degree in Safety or related field preferred.
• OSHA 10-hr and OSHA 30-hr certifications preferred; First Aid/ CPR preferred.
• Experience in recycling/manufacturing safety programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety records, training, and incident documentation.
• Coordinate OSHA logs and safety audits.
• Coordinate safety training and toolbox talks.
• Manage PPE inventory and equipment.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
