Job summary

Leadpoint Business Services seeks a Director of Safety to drive the safety strategy across recycling and production facilities nationwide. You will lead a hands-on safety program, partner with site leadership, and ensure OSHA compliance while reducing workplace risk and building a culture of safety.

The role reports to the VP, oversees audits, corrective actions, and regulatory inquiries, and requires extensive travel (up to 75%).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive occupational safety experience in high-risk environments.
• Experience leading safety programs across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk assessments.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall safety strategy and programs for Leadpoint operations across locations.
• Manage and provide direction to Safety Manager and operational leaders responsible for safety.
• Establish company-wide safety goals, standards, procedures, and performance expectations.
• Monitor safety performance using injury, incident, workers’ compensation, and audit data to identify trends.
• Lead investigations of serious injuries, accidents, near misses, and safety incidents.
