Job summary

CMC seeks a Reliability Engineer to provide technical support for plant equipment, process efficiency, and site safety. This role involves improving maintenance practices, updating equipment records, and coordinating with engineers and operations across facilities.

You will lead projects from design through installation, start-up, and training, while monitoring performance metrics and controlling budgets to ensure reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical applications for plant equipment and processes.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints/diagrams.
• Ability to lead a project from design through installation and startup, including training.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support regarding plant equipment, process efficiency, and plant-wide safety.
• Provide technical assistance in engineering, preventive/predictive maintenance, and reliability engineering.
• Update plant and maintenance equipment records and processes.
• Monitor and maintain a comprehensive set of performance metrics for the plant.
• Coordinate with engineers and operations to implement new technologies and troubleshoot operations.
