Job summary

Index Search Group is seeking a hands-on Reliability Engineer to support plant operations, improve equipment performance, and drive maintenance and reliability initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

The role focuses on equipment efficiency, reducing downtime, and supporting preventative and predictive maintenance programs. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, troubleshooting skills, and project leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with industrial maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and reliability engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience managing technical projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical field, or 10+ years of industrial maintenance/engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve plant equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall performance.
• Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Lead engineering projects from design through installation and startup.
• Track equipment performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain equipment records and support plant safety initiatives.
