Generic Food Manufacturer in the United States is seeking an Engineering Manager – Plant Engineering to strengthen maintenance systems, elevate equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement across a high-volume operation.

The role centers on maintenance leadership and proactive reliability, with responsibilities spanning PM/PdM, TPM, CMMS, downtime analysis, and capital-project oversight. You will mentor technicians and lead cross-team collaboration with Operations and Quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in maintenance, reliability, or plant engineering.
• Experience leading or improving a manufacturing maintenance program.
• Leadership of technicians, supervisors, or other technical staff.
• Strong knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, CMMS, RCA.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting including PLCs and instrumentation.
• Experience using maintenance KPIs to reduce downtime and improve performance.
• Experience managing capital projects, budgets, and schedules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead initiatives to improve plant maintenance, equipment reliability, uptime, and performance.
• Evaluate and implement proactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance practices.
• Strengthen PM/PdM, TPM, CMMS, work-order systems, and planning/scheduling.
• Analyze downtime, failures, OEE, MTTR/MTBF, and data to identify improvements.
• Lead root-cause analyses and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Partner with maintenance and operations to improve troubleshooting and execution.
• Develop and coach maintenance personnel and technical staff.
• Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, automation, and controls.
