Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and reliability of fixed plant assets at Marble Hill, GA. The role focuses on safe, high-quality, and efficient maintenance, with a drive for continuous improvement of the maintenance plan.

The supervisor will manage on-site mechanical teams, ensure planning and scheduling, and coordinate with vendors to source parts and optimize costs. A related bachelor’s degree and 3+ years supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience, labor unions a plus.
• Experience in mining, quarries, or mineral processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the mechanical work force and provide on-site expertise to ensure maintenance is completed efficiently.
• Develop and revise preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Plan, schedule, and control maintenance to be cost-effective and meet production demands.
• Review weekly planning with production supervisors and attend planning meetings.
• Oversee parts and tools provisioning for craft workers.
