Job summary

Smurfit WestRock is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff, ensuring safe and efficient plant asset care and uptime. You will drive continuous improvement in production reliability, develop maintenance strategies, and supervise safe execution of maintenance activities.

The role requires a 2-year technical degree, 10+ years in industrial maintenance with 5+ years in supervision, and proficiency with CMMS, PLC/DCS, JDE, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering - Required.
• 10+ years experience in industrial maintenance with 5+ years in supervision - Required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), JDE, PLC/DCS or similar CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership on maintenance operations to maximize production.
• Develop short- and long-term maintenance strategy aligned with company values.
• Create safety goals and plans to ensure a safe work environment.
• Establish Plant Maintenance Program to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Supervise and inspect maintenance work to ensure updated practices are used.
• Analyze maintenance KPIs to drive performance and efficiency.
• Lead the maintenance team to meet safety and cost targets.
• Participate in Plant Leadership Team to align goals and standards.
• Negotiate with Labor Union on contract issues using win-win strategies.
