Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Maintenance Technician E/M to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery. The role includes preventive maintenance, calibration of instrumentation, and adherence to NEC and MSHA regulations. You will guide junior technicians and manage work orders in the maintenance system (Tabware).

The position is full-time and on-site, located in Georgia, with responsibilities spanning planning and execution of maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and repair manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with NEC and MSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines to access defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as inspecting drives, motors, belts, fluids, filters.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints and repair manuals.
• Repair machines and equipment using appropriate tools.
• Calibrate instrumentation for process and lab equipment and ensure compliance with NEC/MSHA.
